Minnesota forward Julius Randle recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. San Antonio center Victor Wembanyama posted a triple-double: 11 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 blocks.
Wembanyama’s 12 blocks set an all-time playoff record in NBA history. No player had recorded more than 10 blocks in a single postseason game before.
The Timberwolves took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. The teams will meet again in San Antonio on May 6.
