The fourth semifinal matchup of the Professional Women’s Hockey League playoffs between the Ottawa Charge and the Boston Fleet took place on the night of May 11. The game in Ottawa ended with a 4-3 victory for the home side. Goals for the Charge were scored by Sarah Voznevic (7th minute), Rebecca Leslie (24th), Brooke Hobson (33rd), and Mikela Kava (82nd). For Boston, Shay Maloney (26th), Megan Keller (27th), and Sophie Shirley (27th) found the net.
Russian forward Fanuza Kadirova of Ottawa recorded two assists in the game. She now has five points (two goals and three assists) in four playoff games, leading the postseason scoring race. The Charge have advanced to the finals after the win.
