The Carolina Hurricanes have advanced to the Eastern Conference Final for the second consecutive season after sweeping the Philadelphia Flyers 4-0 in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Last year, Carolina lost to Florida in the conference final (1-4). In this year’s Eastern Conference Final, the Hurricanes will face the winner of the series between Montreal and Buffalo, which is currently tied 1-1.
